  • Immunity Boosting Ginger and Tumeric Tea Recipe

This recipe has been a staple in my immunity boosting nutrition for the past year. Whenever I feel under the weather, I am about to get sick or I am actually sick I drink this tea. It has amazing natural healing, anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties. It was recommended to me by my sister in law who is a Holistic Nutrition Health Coach and I have since shared it with so many people around me. I also drink it occasionally just to give a boost to my immune system. Keep the ingredients at hand, it is a super tea to make at home especially during these times where we should focus strengthening our immune system naturally.

Ingredients for 1 cup

1/2 teaspoon of ground Tumeric

2 small slices of Ginger

1 teaspoon of Raw Honey

A small squeeze of Lemon 

Few drops of blackseed oil (replace with black pepper if you don't have access to black seed oil)

Method

Heat in water just below the boiling point the tumeric and the ginger. Pour in a cup. Add the  Raw Honey, a squeeze of Lemon and the black seed oil. Mix all together and drink!
